Dylan Gunner’s Wish is a South Wales Charity founded by Jo Gunner, who lost her son Dylan to cancer in July 2015. He was 16 years old.
His mother Jo has since founded the charity in his name offering help and support children who have been diagnosed with cancer, and also to their parents, siblings and families.
Many of the families the charity supports need practical help in financial matters, grants, clothes, and electrical items. Others are given lifelong memories, or wishes, with family days out to help them cope with the stresses and ordeal of diagnosis and intensive treatments.
It was at Mumbles Rugby that our Customer Relations Manager Liam Evans, previously a coach at the club, met Dylan’s mother. Dylan is described as a Mumbles Rugby lad through and through, the club being very important to him and his friends.
Through this connection, Clarity Copiers Glamorgan is delighted to have donated a SHARP TV to the Dylan Gunner’s Wish charity as a raffle prize and also a new photocopier for the charity’s headquarters.
“Charities like Dylan Gunner’s Wish are so important to the local communities in which they serve”, said Warren Dryden, Clarity’s Managing Director, “ever-decreasing resources mean that the financial help, signposting and support that families need isn’t always available, and so being able to help Jo raise funds is something we are delighted to do.”
